It's difficult for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

This is the team that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and once went over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are what's still available for a side that has achieved everything.

It needed as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, taking back their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a tribute to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the last half-century.

It's difficult for their batsmen to possess a record if not provided the opportunity.

The question of whether this newest brilliant performance surpassed that earlier display can be debated.

Many contend the case for final game tension. Others can counter with the challenge that comes when pursuing an unprecedented total and a loud pro-India audience of 20,000.

What's definite is this ton was far harder to anticipate.

The New Zealand onslaught in 2022 occurred when she led the batting statistics, but this innings came after six matches in India over the past few weeks in which she had been unable to reach 30.

"For those following me in training, it was a challenging time because it seemed I lacked timing completely," stated Healy.

"Yet the moment you take the field, your competitive instincts activate and you simply focus on the match."

Healy's competitive nature has consistently been her major advantage - and an invaluable trait in taking over from iconic ex-skipper Meg Lanning.

She was tormented by India's emerging talent Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, out to the 22-year-old seamer in all three matches, but here that only provided Healy's spark.

A single was taken off the opening delivery and from there Healy was underway.

"A chance to go out there and lock in a contest with her and just have a bit of fun in that regard, kind of motivated me," stated Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 deliveries - her quickest at the World Cup - and her hundred in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, striking 21 boundaries and three maximums.

Once she was removed her side needed 66 more at run per delivery - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I am glad we have the assurance to do that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, if necessary, we know we can succeed."

These statements will be the final thing rival teams at this championship should hear.

During the last week a feeling they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this triumph succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.
